December 18, 2020 – Yonder Bags, an international luggage brand famous for premium leather bags and backpacks has just donated 25 backpacks to Hope Pkgs, a charitable organization dedicated to assisting young children with personal items, sanitary products, and clothes when entering foster care.

The experience of entering foster care can be traumatic for children. It is made worse in several circumstances, when they may be hauled away from school, or in the middle of the night without being given time to pack anything of their own.  The frightening prospect of not seeing their families anymore combined with no personal effects of their own can drive children and young teens, especially to desperation.

This is where Hope Pkgs plays a vital role helping to ease the trauma of children entering foster care by giving them bags packed with personal items such as clothes, socks, toiletries, underwear and pajamas instead of using hand-me-downs.
