Lakeside, CA – December 18, 2020 – Lakeside Union School District students at Lakeside Middle School shine virtually with hybrid learning dance classes. Dance instructors and students take extra precautions by taping out 6 feet squares for in-person practice, while offering virtual options as well through Zoom. Students have the chance to participate in these dance classes to hone their skills, get exercise, and be a part of a fun extracurricular activity.

Safety is a top priority for the teachers who wear masks, along with students, and use disinfectant on the dance floor multiple times between lessons to ensure all areas are sanitary and safe. With all the uncertainties of this year for students and teachers alike, the dance classes provide a fun outlet for everyone. Students have made great progress that can be seen in the LMS dance program video.

Although things are different, Lakeside Union School District is continuing to assist its students in any way possible through safe and interesting programs and activities. These programs are irreplaceable to students and families in the community.
